LIVING FORMS exhibition

Designer, founder of Perler Design and catherina nocc, and president of the TWÓR Association. Her work has been recognised by major Polish design institutions, including the must have award from Łódź Design Festival and the Dobry Wzór award from the Institute of Industrial Design. Working primarily in Jesmonite, she has developed her own formulas and techniques to create sculptural furniture ranging from small tables to full-scale dining pieces.

Aleksandra Went is a sculptor and ceramic artist based in Gdańsk. Alongside more than two decades of work within the Karska/Went duo, known for films and spatial installations, she develops her own clay-based practice under the brand Wela Ont Ceramika. Her objects, from intimate tableware to vase-sculptures, combine sculptural sensitivity with everyday function.

Based in Wrocław, Katarzyna Krej works with glass and ceramic sculpture, creating interior objects that balance between functional form and autonomous sculpture. A graduate of the Glass Design Department at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, she is particularly interested in mass, colour, light and the bodily presence of form. Many of her works begin with intimate human stories and are translated into sensual, hand-made objects produced in short artist series.

Jakub Biewald is a sculptor and ceramic artist whose work draws on the dynamics of growth, transformation and elemental force. A graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, with further study in Palermo, he later completed a PhD at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where he now works as an assistant professor. His sculptures and applied art objects combine formal precision with the raw energy of matter.

Patrycja Ryba is a ceramic designer, architect and founder of the brand Oneko. Her work grows from a fascination with natural structures, not only their harmony and beauty, but also their irregularity, softness and expressive flaws. Rather than imitating nature directly, she develops her own formal language through interpretation, giving each object a distinct sculptural presence.

Rebeka Ciesielczuk creates ceramics that deliberately blur the boundaries between function and sculpture. A graduate of the Ceramics Department at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, she designs unique interior objects including sculptures, lighting and everyday forms, also as bespoke commissions. Her work draws on organic textures and human relationships, bringing softness, calm and tactile intimacy into space.

Angelika Stefaniak is a sculptor working with ceramics and textiles. A graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, her practice is rooted in intuition, childlike perception and a dreamlike distortion of reality, with influences from psychology, anthropology and biomorphism. She creates emotionally charged, haptic forms that move between sculpture and object, and has been recognised through the OP_YOUNG 2024 programme and a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

Zuzanna Zienkiewicz is an artist based in Wrocław whose practice combines sculptural thinking with function. Inspired by landscape rhythms, fungal structures and rock formations, she develops biomorphic forms using clay, but also experiments with marble, wood, cast iron, steel and fabric. Her work moves fluidly between intimate object scale and pieces with strong spatial presence.

Piotr Butkiewicz is a Wrocław-based artist whose sculptural practice is rooted in wood, both in autonomous works and in functional forms. Trained as a sculptor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, he also designs and makes furniture, bringing a carver’s sensitivity to proportion, touch and structure. In his work, wood is treated as a living record of time, carrying marks, tensions and traces that become part of the final form.

Maja Tybel is an art director, photographer and sculptor whose practice moves between visual storytelling and collectible objects. Under TYBEL FORMS, she creates sculptural lighting and objects developed from concept to final cast in her studio, drawing on Polish folk paper-cutting and reinterpreting Old Slavic totemic forms through clay-based structures and modular compositions.

Gabriela Słomińska is the artist behind BINIA Studio, where lighting is treated as a sculptural and atmospheric medium. Her hand-made lamps draw on organic forms such as shells, coral and other marine structures, and are created through an authorial process that combines paper pulp, fiberglass and plaster with richly textured, droplet-like surfaces.

Maria Klar works under the name RAIOS, focusing on hand-sculpted collectible objects with a strong sculptural presence. Publicly available materials on the practice are currently limited, but the work has already appeared in contemporary interiors press as a distinctive artistic accent within residential space.

Szymon Keller is a Polish designer based in Barcelona, working across collectible design, bespoke objects and spatial practice. His work is shaped by memory, migration and dialogue between cultures, and often draws on the landscapes of Pomerania, Mediterranean light and the architecture of Barcelona, with resin playing a central role in his sculptural language.

STANEK + WICHLIŃSKI is a duo working at the intersection of glass, light and applied art. Their practice seeks balance between precision and spontaneity, matter and light, utility and contemplation, resulting in objects that treat colour, transparency and surface relief as active elements of form.

Palucki Studio is an independent design practice founded by brothers Mateusz and Robert Pałucki, focused on collectible furniture and functional objects created as unique pieces or in limited editions. Mateusz leads the creative direction and material exploration of the studio, while Robert focuses on construction, precision and complex production methods; together they develop each piece entirely in-house, at the intersection of art, design and craftsmanship.

Maria and Jacek Rypuła are the founders of Gie El and the architectural practice Genius Loci Architekci. Their work spans interiors, architecture and design, while Gie El is especially known for sculptural decorative lighting that combines contemporary design language with Polish craftsmanship and inspiration drawn from nature and the beauty of everyday forms.
