Exhibitions & Projects
TWÓR curates exhibitions, public programmes and projects that bring contemporary Polish functional art into dialogue with audiences, institutions and the international design community. We present one-of-a-kind and limited-edition works in galleries, at design festivals and across public spaces, creating contexts in which material, function and artistic expression can be experienced together.
LIVING FORMS: SYMBIOSIS
Gdynia Design Days 2026

Living Forms: Symbiosis was an artistic and educational project presented by TWÓR as part of Gdynia Design Days 2026. Installed across the ground floor of PPNT Gdynia and its microforest, the exhibition explored how functional art can contribute to urban biodiversity.
Handcrafted works in ceramics, jesmonite, glass and wood combined a sculptural presence with specific ecological functions. They included habitats for wild pollinators, shelters for hedgehogs and small animals, bird feeders, drinking stations and forms supporting local water retention.
Inspired by nests, burrows, tree trunks, soil and water, the objects moved functional art beyond the domestic interior and into the shared urban ecosystem. The project asked whether an artwork could be both beautiful and genuinely useful to other species. Curatorial tours led by Katarzyna Szyc expanded the conversation around design, responsibility and coexistence.
LIVING FORMS
Concordia Design Wrocław

Following its premiere during Milan Design Week, Living Forms returned to Poland for a new presentation at Concordia Design Wrocław. The exhibition brought together furniture, lighting, vessels, mirrors, reliefs and sculptural objects inspired by plants, rock formations, landscapes, animals and the human body.
The larger venue gave the works a different rhythm while preserving the sensory character of the Milan edition through an original nature-based soundscape and living moss incorporated into the exhibition space.
The final programme took place during Wrocław Museum Night on 16 May 2026. Alongside curatorial tours and conversations with the artists, TWÓR presented an educational programme devoted to the legal and practical realities of artistic practice. It addressed provenance, copyright, certificates, insurance, transport and cooperation with galleries. The programme also included the presentation of a free Export Readiness Pack created for artists preparing to enter international markets.
By removing the conventional threshold of a gallery, the project made functional art more accessible and invited audiences to experience it on their own terms.
LIVING FORMS
Milan Design Week 2026

Living Forms marked TWÓR’s international presentation during Milan Design Week 2026. Staged at Gilda Contemporary Art in the historic 5VIE district and included in the Fuorisalone programme, it brought together members of the association and invited Polish artists and studios.
The exhibition presented furniture, lighting, vessels, mirrors, reliefs and sculptural objects created in ceramics, glass, wood, brass, leather, textiles and jesmonite. Rather than imposing a single visual language, the curatorial concept connected distinct artistic practices through their shared attention to nature, material experimentation and the meeting point between sculpture and use.
Living moss, raw wood, light, moving air, a bespoke scent and an original sound composition inspired by nature transformed the gallery into a multisensory environment. Curated by Katarzyna Szyc and Kama Wróbel, the project introduced contemporary Polish functional art to an international audience of collectors, galleries, curators, architects and design professionals.
TWÓR W WITRYNIE
Art in the Windows

TWÓR w Witrynie was a citywide trail of five micro-exhibitions presented in the windows of cultural institutions, public spaces, a restaurant and a retail venue across central Wrocław.
The windows presented objects in ceramics, glass, wood and jesmonite, including furniture and collectible pieces for interiors as well as selected works developed for green and public spaces. QR codes connected each object with information about its maker, materials, concept and context. A guided walk led by TWÓR offered a closer look at the works and the ideas behind them.
The project brought contemporary functional art directly into the everyday rhythm of the city. Visitors did not need to enter a gallery or plan a formal exhibition visit. Works could be encountered naturally while walking through the city centre, passing a library, meeting place, restaurant or shop.
LIVING FORMS: TWÓR × PERLER DESIGN
Krosno Design Festival 2025

At Krosno Design Festival 2025, TWÓR and Perler Design transformed approximately 120 square metres of exhibition space into an organic landscape of form, texture and light.
Living Forms presented contemporary Polish functional art for interiors alongside selected objects conceived for public and green spaces. Sculptural furniture in jesmonite and ceramics appeared alongside lighting, vessels, mirrors and works designed to support solitary bees.
A restrained palette of whites, earth tones, muted greens and graphite drew attention to surfaces, craftsmanship and the visible traces of the making process. By placing the distinctive language of Perler Design in dialogue with works selected from TWÓR artists, the exhibition demonstrated how function, material research and individual expression can reinforce one another.
The presentation was created for collectors, architects, cultural institutions and visitors interested in objects that move beyond decoration and carry both a practical purpose and a recognisable artistic identity.
