About TWÓR
A Curatorial Platform for Collectible Design
TWÓR is an association and curatorial platform dedicated to contemporary functional art. We represent independent artists whose practices blur the lines between sculpture, craft and design, creating objects where utility serves as an extension of artistic expression.
Our mission is to connect Polish collectible design with global audiences, including collectors, galleries, architects and institutions, while fostering meaningful growth for the creators we represent.
We believe art should not be confined to pedestals. It can be experienced, used and integrated into everyday life, enriching private interiors, cultural spaces and public environments alike.
What We Do
Curate We select works distinguished by a singular artistic language, material consciousness and exceptional craftsmanship. Our portfolio brings together unique objects crafted from ceramics, glass, wood, metal, jesmonite and experimental mediums.
Present We organise exhibitions and international projects that introduce functional art from Poland to new audiences. By partnering with design festivals and cultural institutions, we place these works in contexts that transcend the conventional boundaries of design.
Connect We bridge the gap between artists and industry professionals seeking distinctive contemporary objects. We facilitate collaborations that allow artistic practices to smoothly enter private collections, bespoke interiors and public spaces.
Our Perspective on Functional Art
We view functional art as the perfect intersection of aesthetics and usability.
The objects in our collection are never defined by function alone. They carry the maker’s perspective, the raw imprint of the creative process and a narrative extending far beyond utility. A table, lamp or vessel can remain fully functional while maintaining a strong sculptural presence within a space.
At TWÓR, this dialogue between art and everyday experience is paramount. We want functional art to be encountered not just in galleries, but in the very places where people live, work and meet.
